Designed and developed new Credit Management operation focusing on
partnership between Sales, Distribution, Customer Service and Credit
Management. Design included all Standard Operatining Proceedures,
Policies, and computer based tools for customer management, call tracking and
dispute resolution. Development included recruitement and training of new
credit specialists, salary and commission structure, and target definitions.
Developed old (120 days +) account balance reconciliation, dispute
resolution and recovery program resulting in the reduction of annual write-downs
by 45% in the first year.
Developed and deployed customer site visit program for consignment inventory
management and replenishment. Program included computer based tracking and
FDA reporting functions for inter-occular device manufacturer.
Initiated and led a organizational change program to more closely align Sales
and Credit Management as customer focused partners leading to higher customer
ratings for both organizations.
Key member of software selection and business project manager for
implementation of SAP R/3 across all business operations.
Led operations teams of up to 8 direct reports with responsibility for career
planning, recruitment, performance reviews, performance correction.
Managed operational budgets exceeding $1 million.
